Raise your jars my friends and ask them very cold! Beer‘s International Day is coming fast and we need to be prepared. Thanks to Messrs. Jesse Avshalomov, Evan Hamilton, Aaron Araki, and Richard Hernández since 12 years ago, every first Friday of August we celebrate the beer day.
The purpose of this holiday is to meet with friends, celebrate all those artisan hands that dedicate their life to the preparation of this drink, to the gentle hand that serves it, and finally, strengthen a bond with the different countries and cultures with something in common; the mutual love for the delicious taste of the amber nectar.
This alcoholic beverage is one of the most consumed in the world. It has more than 12 thousand years of experience, whereby accident some grains of wheat or barley were fermented and some bold lucky man discovered the joy of a bitter taste along with the chaotic effect of happiness.
Beer is a social drink, it makes us partakers of people’s joys and sorrows. It is the drink of the people, of the multitude and the art knows of what are we talking about. The impressionist paintings “In the cafe” and “Corner of a cafe-concert” by Édouard Manet of 1878, portrays it perfectly. It is two workpieces of art divided in half, both refer to the breweries with waitresses that at that time was something new in the city of Paris.
Currently, more than 200 cities and 50 countries celebrate this tradition. And what better way to celebrate this day than aboard a luxurious catamaran and the beautiful turquoise sea? Albatros offers beer in all rides.
